Hi, I'm Amanda, the creator behind Whimsy Unlocked.
By day, I work in the mental health field, supporting others through some of life's most difficult challenges. It is deeply meaningful work, but like many helping professionals, I learned the importance of making time for creativity, joy, and self-care.
What began as a creative outlet quickly became something more. Working with polymer clay gave me a chance to slow down, create with my hands, and reconnect with the simple happiness that comes from making something beautiful. What started as self-care grew into a passion, and eventually into Whimsy Unlocked.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by me. I draw inspiration from color, nature, art, and the little moments of joy that often go unnoticed in our busy lives. My hope is that every piece brings a smile, sparks a memory, or adds a touch of whimsy to someone's day.
The name Whimsy Unlocked reflects that journey. Sometimes joy isn't something we find—it's something we make space for. Through creativity, we unlock parts of ourselves that help us feel inspired, connected, and alive.
